My Little Pony was a big deal to me as a kid, with my friends and I happily collecting both G2 and G3 ponies (growing up in late 90's/early 00's). While I quickly grew into a tomboy and swapped out my ponies and Barbies for comic books and action figures, I would eventually return to MLP collecting almost two decades later after randomly stumbling across a pony figure in a thrift store.
